How To Make Low Carb Ground Turkey and Cheese Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 large portobello mushrooms, stem removed
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Place portobello mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In a large skillet, cook ground turkey over medium heat until browned, stirring occasionally.

Add onion, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper to the skillet.

Cook until onion is soft.

Spoon ground turkey mixture into the mushroom caps.

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each mushroom cap.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
