How To Make Posh Egg, Chips & Beans

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into chips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cans of baked beans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. Cook the chips: Place the potato chips on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with paprika and salt. Toss to coat evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.

  3. While the chips are baking, prepare the eggs: Boil water in a saucepan, gently add the eggs and cook for 6-7 minutes for a medium-soft yolk or adjust according to your preference. Once cooked, peel and set aside.

  4. Heat the baked beans in a separate saucepan over medium heat until heated through.

  5. Assemble the dish: Divide the chips among serving plates. Place two eggs on each plate. Serve them with a generous serving of hot baked beans.
