An easy-to-make low-carb dish with tender strips of steak smothered in a savory pepper sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- Parsley, for garnish
Instructions

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced steak and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Add the bell peppers and onion to the same skillet and sauté until they start to soften.

Add the garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Stir until fragrant.

Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for a few minutes.

Add the heavy cream and butter, stir until the sauce thickens slightly.

Add the steak back into the skillet and stir until coated with the pepper sauce.

Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
