How To Make IHOP Chicken and Waffles Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups waffle mix
  • Butter and syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and place a wire rack on a baking sheet.

  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and egg.

  4. Dip each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then the milk mixture, then back in the flour mixture.

  5. Place chicken on wire rack and bake for 20 minutes.

  6. While chicken is baking, prepare waffle mix according to package instructions.

  7. Cook waffles in waffle maker.

  8. Serve chicken and waffles together with butter and syrup.
