Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups panko bread crumbs
  • Cooking spray
  • 8 frozen waffles, toasted
  • Butter and maple syrup, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Place flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large plastic bag.

  3. Add chicken breasts to the bag, seal, and shake until coated.

  4. Dip chicken in buttermilk, then coat in panko breadcrumbs.

  5. Place chicken on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Spray the chicken with more cooking spray.

  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until chicken is golden brown and cooked through.

  7. Toast waffles according to package directions.

  8. Serve chicken on top of waffles with butter and maple syrup.
