How To Make Easy Naan Bread
A simple and delicious recipe for homemade naan bread that is soft and fluffy.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons oil (plus extra for brushing)
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar.

In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Add the yeast mixture, yogurt, and oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a damp cloth. Let it rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape them into balls.

Roll out each ball into a naan shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
