How To Make CPK Margherita Pizza

A classic pizza with fresh mozzarella, Roma tomatoes, and fresh basil.

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 oz. fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.

  2. Roll out pizza dough to desired thickness and shape.

  3. Spread tomato sauce over dough, leaving about 1 inch of space around the edges.

  4. Top with slices of fresh mozzarella and Roma tomatoes.

  5. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.

  7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
