How To Make Chickpea Flour Pancakes

Ingredients
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, sift together chickpea flour, baking powder, salt, cumin powder, and turmeric.

Slowly whisk in 1 cup of water to make a smooth batter without lumps.

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Brush some oil using a brush or a paper towel.

Pour 1/4 cup batter onto the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles appear then flip and cook for another minute.

Repeat with the remaining batter.

Top with onions, tomatoes, and cilantro.
