How To Make Chickpea Flour Tortilla Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chickpea flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together chickpea flour, salt, cumin, and garlic powder.

  2. Slowly pour in the water, whisking constantly until all the lumps have disappeared.

  3. Let the batter rest for 10-15 minutes.

  4. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil.

  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and spread it evenly to form a thin layer.

  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  7. Repeat with the remaining batter.

  8. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
