How To Make Walleye Veracruz Recipe
A delicious and flavorful seafood dish made with fresh walleye, tomatoes, onions, peppers, and olives in a tangy sauce.

Ingredients
- 4 walleye fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1/2 cup chopped green olives
- 1 tbsp capers
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add onions, bell peppers, and garlic, and cook until vegetables are soft.

Add diced tomatoes, olives, capers, and oregano.

Season with salt and pepper to taste, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Place walleye fillets in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them.

Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the fish is cooked through.
