White Chocolate Peppermint Hot Chocolate Recipe

How To Make White Chocolate Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Your favorite hot chocolate drink gets a festive makeover with this white chocolate and peppermint recipe that’s perfect for warming up the family.

Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking: 15 minutes
Total: 20 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4cupshalf & half
  • 8ozwhite chocolate,chopped
  • 1tsppeppermint extract
  • ½tspvanilla
  • ½cupheavy whipping cream
  • 1tbsppowdered sugar
  • peppermint candies,chopped

Instructions

  1. Over medium low heat, combine half & half, white chocolate, peppermint extract and vanilla in a medium saucepan, stirring occasionally. Cook 15 minutes or until chocolate is melted and heated through.

  2. Beat whipping cream in a bowl at high speed until thickened. Add powdered sugar and continue beating until soft peaks form.

  3. Pour hot chocolate into mugs; top with whipped cream and peppermint candies, if desired.
