How To Make Hot Chocolate

Since the cold season is here, warm yourself up with a rich and creamy hot chocolate that will surely keep you warm but also satisfy your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

  • 12ozsemisweet chocolate disks
  • 6cupswhole milk
  • 1tspvanilla extract
  • whipped cream,optional

Instructions

  1. Microwave the chocolate in 30-second increments in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth while bringing the milk to 180 degrees in a saucepan over medium heat measuring with a thermometer.

  2. Turn the heat off the milk and add in the chocolate whisking them together well and adding in the vanilla before serving with whipped cream if desired.
