Double Chocolate Hot Chocolate Recipe

It can get chilly on a cold winter’s night. And there’s nothing like a nice hot cup of chocolate to warm you up from head to toe. Our recipe doubles the flavor and will invigorate you with each sip.

How To Make Double Chocolate Hot Chocolate

It's a hot chocolate recipe but make it double the flavor. We've added in two kinds of chocolates to make it extra rich and decadent.

  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 2 oz Nesquick chocolate drink mix
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 2 oz Hershey cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup cream
  • 4 oz mini marshmallows


  1. In a bowl, combine Nequick and Hershey bars and pour over with boiling water. Mix until you get a creamy consistency.

  2. In a small saucepan, bring the milk and heavy cream just to a simmer. Add the chocolate mixture and whisk over moderate heat until hot.

  3. Pour into mugs and serve with mini marshmallows.
