This hot chocolate recipe is made even richer with the added raspberry flavor. It’s a sweet and warm drink that’s perfect for cold mornings.

  • cupgranulated sugar
  • ¼cupcocoa powder
  • cupsmilk
  • 1cupwater
  • 1pinchsalt
  • ½cupcream
  • ¼tspcinnamon,to taste
  • ¾tspraspberry extract,to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan whisk together granulated sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Stir in milk and water.

  2. Heat mixture over medium heat until mixture nearly boils, stirring frequently.

  3. Remove from heat and pour in cream and raspberry extract. Add cinnamon to taste. Serve with optional sweetened whipped cream or marshmallows.
