Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 3 large lemons
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

  2. Roll out the pre-made pie crust and press it into a tart pan. Trim any excess crust.

  3. In a bowl, zest and juice the lemons.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, melted butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice until well combined.

  5. Pour the lemon mixture into the tart shell.

  6. Place the tart pan on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

  8. Just before serving, dust the top of the tart with powdered sugar.
