Ingredients
- 1 ready-made pie crust
- 4 oranges
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in a tart pan and set aside.

Zest 2 oranges and set aside.

In a saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat until it turns into a golden caramel. Be careful not to burn it.

Pour the caramel into the tart pan, spreading it evenly on the bottom.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and orange zest until well combined.

Juice the 4 oranges and strain the juice. Add the orange juice to the egg mixture and stir well.

Pour the custard mixture into the tart pan over the caramel.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the custard is set and slightly golden on top.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before serving.
