- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup your favorite jam

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a tart pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cubed butter, and sugar. Use your fingertips to rub the butter into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs.
