Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups of custard
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the custard over medium-low heat until warm.

  2. Stir in the sugar and vanilla extract until dissolved.

  3. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

  4. In individual serving pots or glasses, layer the sliced bananas and custard.

  5. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, ending with a layer of custard.

  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.

  7. Before serving, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings, if desired.
