How To Make Dark Chocolate Pots with Cherry Compote

- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup cherries, pitted
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions

In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.

Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

In a separate saucepan, combine the cherries, honey, and lemon juice. Cook over low heat until the cherries are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the cherry compote from heat and let it cool slightly.

Divide the melted chocolate mixture into four serving glasses or ramekins.

Place the glasses in the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 2 hours, or until set.

Once the chocolate is set, spoon the cherry compote over the top of each pot.

Serve the dark chocolate pots with cherry compote chilled.
