Instructions

  1. Place the sliced strawberries into the pre-baked pie crust, spreading them evenly.

  2. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and cornstarch. Gradually add the water while whisking until smooth.

  3. Cook the sugar mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and becomes clear.

  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

  5. Pour the cooled sugar mixture over the strawberries in the pie crust, ensuring it covers all the strawberries.
