How To Make Squash Pie

Ingredients
- 1 medium-sized squash, peeled and seeds removed
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a pot, add the squash and cover with water. Boil until the squash is tender, around 10-15 minutes. Drain and mash the squash.

In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed squash, sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well until smooth.

Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
