How To Make Butternut, Maple & Pecan Lattice Pie

Ingredients
- 1 butternut squash, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 package of store-bought pie crust
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, combine the diced butternut squash, maple syrup, chopped pecans, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour. Mix well.

Roll out one pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.

Pour the butternut squash mixture into the pie crust.

Roll out the second pie crust and cut it into thin strips.

Create a lattice pattern over the filling with the pie crust strips, weaving them over and under. Trim excess dough and seal the edges.

Brush the beaten egg over the lattice crust for a golden finish.
