Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 2 ripe persimmons, sliced
- 1/4 cup membrillo (quince paste), thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the thawed puff pastry sheet on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
-
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and flour. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 2-inch border.
-
Arrange the persimmon slices and membrillo slices on top of the pastry, within the border. Drizzle the honey and lemon juice over the fruit.
-
Fold the edges of the pastry over the fruit, creating pleats as you go. Brush the edges with melted butter.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and crisp.
-
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
