How To Make Mushroom and Thyme Galette
A savory pastry filled with mushrooms and thyme seasoned to perfection.

Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry dough
- 2 cups of sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp of fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the puff pastry dough on top.

In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the mushrooms, garlic, thyme and oil for 5-7 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Spread the mushroom mixture on top of the puff pastry leaving a 2 inch border.

Fold the edges of the pastry over the mushrooms to create a galette, brush with egg wash.

Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow the galette to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
