What better way to get you in a happy mood than having a slice of pie? These baked dishes are perfect for those who can’t get enough of flaky pastries. From an apple variant to a lemon meringue, these pies pastries recipes will satisfy your pie and pastry cravings.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of raspberry sauce
  • 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp of powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a bowl, combine peaches, sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon until well coated.

  3. Roll out the pie crusts and use a round cookie cutter to cut out circles.

  4. Place a spoonful of the peach mixture onto half of the circles.

  5. Top each with a dollop of raspberry sauce and cover with the remaining circles.

  6. Press the edges together with a fork to seal the pies.

  7. Brush the pies with beaten egg and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

  8. Place the pies on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. Allow the pies to cool for a few minutes before serving.
