  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pie crust
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  4. Add the sliced mangoes and lemon juice to the bowl and gently toss until the mangoes are coated in the sugar mixture.

  5. Pour the mango mixture into the pie crust and spread it evenly.

  6. Dot the top with small pieces of butter.

  7. Cover the pie with another pie crust or lattice design if desired.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the mango filling is bubbly.

  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
