- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, peeled and diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- Cheddar cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Remove excess grease.

Add the diced onion, carrots, and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are tender.

Stir in the frozen peas, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
