How To Make Chocolate Pie with Toffee Sauce & Coffee Cream

- 1 9-inch pre-baked pie crust
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
- Whipped cream and additional toffee bits for garnish
Instructions

In a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips and cocoa powder, stirring until smooth. Set aside.

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the granulated sugar, flour, and salt. Gradually whisk in the milk.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.

Remove from heat and add the melted chocolate mixture, butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.

Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust and smooth the top. Sprinkle the toffee bits evenly over the filling.

In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream, sugar, and instant coffee granules until stiff peaks form.
