Ingredients

  • 1 package of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups of cold milk
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 8 graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Set aside.

  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

  3. Fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until well combined.

  4. Line a 9×9 inch baking dish with a layer of graham crackers.

  5. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the graham crackers.

  6. Repeat the layers with another layer of graham crackers and the remaining pudding mixture.

  7. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted.

  8. Pour the melted chocolate over the top layer of pudding.

  9. In another microwave-safe bowl, heat the 1/4 cup of heavy cream until hot but not boiling. Pour over the melted chocolate and spread evenly.

  10. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours to set.

  11. Slice and serve chilled.
