How To Make Cheese, Swede & Leek Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 large swede, peeled and diced
  • 2 leeks, washed and sliced
  • 200g of cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 150ml of milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and line a pie dish with it.

  3. In a large pan, cook the swede and leeks in a little oil until soft.

  4. In a bowl, mix together the cooked swede and leeks, cheese, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until golden and set.

  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
