How To Make Crab & Leek Pasties
What better way to get you in a happy mood than having a slice of pie? These baked dishes are perfect for those who can’t get enough of flaky pastries. From an apple variant to a lemon meringue, these pies pastries recipes will satisfy your pie and pastry cravings.

Ingredients
- 200g crab meat
- 1 leek, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the leek until soft and translucent.

Add the crab meat and lemon juice to the skillet, and cook for another 2 minutes.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat and leek mixture with mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares or circles.

Spoon a generous amount of the crab and leek mixture onto one half of each pastry square or circle, leaving a border.

Fold the pastry over the mixture and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.

Place the pasties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops of the pasties with beaten egg wash.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
