How To Make Apple Pie Slices

Ingredients
- 4 Granny Smith apples
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons turbinado sugar (optional for topping)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples.

In a large bowl, toss the apple slices with lemon juice.

In a separate small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and flour.

Add the sugar mixture to the apples and toss to coat evenly.

Unroll one pie crust onto a lightly floured surface.

Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut the crust into 8 triangular slices.

Place a spoonful of the apple mixture onto the wider end of each slice.

Starting at the wider end, roll up each slice, carefully tucking in the filling as you go.
