- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin with non-stick spray.

Slice the apples in half and remove the core. Thinly slice the apples crosswise.
-
In a bowl, combine the lemon juice, water, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Add the apple slices and toss to coat.
-
Microwave the apple slices for 3 minutes to soften.
-
Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut the puff pastry into 6 equal strips.
-
Spread a thin layer of apple slices along each strip of puff pastry, overlapping them slightly.
-
Roll up each strip tightly to form a rose shape. Place each rose in the prepared muffin tin.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the apples are cooked through.
-
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
