This pairs really well with the sweet vanilla-flavored cream sandwiched in between the cookies. Ingredients

  • 16 Oreos
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Slowly add in the milk and vanilla extract, whisking until a smooth batter forms.

  4. Dip each Oreo into the batter, fully coating it on all sides.

  5. Gently place the battered Oreos into the hot oil, frying them in small batches for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

  6. Remove the fried Oreos from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  7. Repeat the frying process until all the Oreos are cooked.

  8. Dust the Deep-Fried Oreos with powdered sugar before serving.

  9. Enjoy while warm and gooey!
