Here’s an easy and decadent upgrade to a classic treat! These fried Oreos are deep-fried until golden for that delectable carnival food dessert.

Ingredients

  • 18Oreo cookies
  • cupspancake mix
  • 1egg
  • ¾cupmilk
  • 2tspvegetable oil,plus more for frying
  • ¼tspvanilla extract
  • ¼cuppowdered sugar
  • raspberry sauce,optional

Instructions

  1. Heat 3 inches of oil in a deep pot to 350 degrees F.

  2. Place the pancake mix, egg, milk, 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Stir to combine.

  3. Dip each Oreo into the batter, then place them in the oil.

  4. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown all over.

  5. Place the Oreos on a serving plate, then sift powdered sugar over the top.

  6. Serve with a side of raspberry sauce, and enjoy!
