Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup fudge chunks
  • 1/4 cup brewed coffee

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until sugar is fully dissolved.

  2. Remove 1 cup of the cream mixture and whisk in the cocoa powder until smooth.

  3. Pour the cream mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.

  4. In the last few minutes of churning, add the fudge chunks.

  5. In a small saucepan, heat the brewed coffee until warm.

  6. Drizzle the warm coffee over the churned ice cream and use a spoon to gently swirl it into the ice cream.

  7. Transfer the ice cream to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
