Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup almond flakes, toasted (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the fresh cherries, frozen cherries, sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.

  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

  3. Gently fold the cherry mixture into the whipped cream until well combined.

  4. Pour the condensed milk into the mixture and stir until smooth.

  5. Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Smooth the top with a spatula.

  6. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

  7. Once ready to serve, remove from the freezer and let sit for a few minutes to soften.

  8. Slice and garnish with toasted almond flakes.
