How To Make Cranberry Pecan Baked Apples

Ingredients

  • 4 large apples
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup apple cider

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Core the apples and cut off the top inch of each apple.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the dried cranberries, chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  4. Stuff each apple with the cranberry pecan mixture.

  5. Place the stuffed apples in a baking dish and pour the apple cider over them.

  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the apples are tender.

  7. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
