How To Make Chocolate Fondant Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 6 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.

  2. Butter 4 ramekins and set aside.

  3. Melt the butter and chocolate in a double boiler.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and powdered sugar.

  5. Add the eggs, egg yolks, and salt to the flour mixture and whisk until well combined.

  6. Add the melted butter and chocolate mixture and whisk until smooth.

  7. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.

  8. Bake for 12 minutes.

  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for 1 minute.

  10. Run a knife around the edges and invert onto serving plates.

  11. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
