How To Make Skeleton Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the cold butter to the dry ingredients and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, vanilla extract, and milk.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for a few seconds until it comes together.

Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) thickness.
