How To Make Vegan Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 cup of vegan butter, cold
  • 3/4 cup of non-dairy milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Cut the cold vegan butter into small pieces and add it to the flour mixture. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to incorporate the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. Gradually pour in the non-dairy milk and stir until the dough comes together. Be careful not to overmix.

  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times to bring it together. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thickness.

  6. Use a round biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits from the dough. Place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.

  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
