How To Make Fruity Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup of butter, softened
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 3/4 cup of dried fruit (such as raisins or cranberries)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the dried fruit until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased or lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
