  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate fudge, chopped
  • 1/4 cup colorful sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.

  4. Stir in the chopped chocolate fudge until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

  5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and roll each ball in the colorful sprinkles, pressing lightly to adhere.

  6. Place the balls onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass.

  7. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft.

  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
