How To Make Cardamom & Pistachio Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/4 cup crushed pistachios

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Add the flour and ground cardamom to the bowl and mix until the dough comes together.

  4. Fold in the crushed pistachios until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

  5. Roll tablespoon-sized portions of dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each biscuit.

  6. Flatten each ball slightly with the back of a fork.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges of the biscuits turn golden brown.

  8. Remove from the oven and let the biscuits cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
