How To Make Orange & Cardamom Tree Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, cold and cubed
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the cold butter to the flour mixture and rub it in with your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs.

Stir in the orange zest and cardamom.

Gradually add the milk, mixing until a soft dough forms.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.

Cut out biscuit shapes using a cookie cutter and transfer them to a lined baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
