- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup dates, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped walnuts, dates, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.

Transfer the batter to the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
