- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup dates, chopped
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 8×8 inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, chopped dates, vegetable oil, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

Fold in the chopped walnuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
