- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a round cake pan.

Slice the bananas and arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of the pan.

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.

Pour the batter over the bananas in the cake pan, spreading it evenly.

Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan.

Place a serving plate upside-down on top of the cake pan, and carefully flip the cake onto the plate.
