Ingredients

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of toasted hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp of powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate chips, melted
  • 1/4 cup of hazelnut spread

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a clean mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add in the granulated sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.

  3. Gently fold in the chopped hazelnuts and vanilla extract.

  4. Spoon the meringue mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 4 individual nests.

  5. Bake for 35 minutes or until the meringues are crisp and golden. Remove from the oven and let cool.

  6. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.

  7. To assemble, fill each meringue nest with a dollop of whipped cream. Drizzle with melted chocolate and hazelnut spread.

  8. Serve immediately and enjoy the irresistible combination of crunchy meringue, creamy filling, and nutty flavors.
