Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of sea salt
  • 1 cup of roasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and stir until dissolved.

  3. Pour in the condensed milk and stir constantly for 5 minutes until the mixture thickens and turns a caramel color. Remove from heat and stir in the sea salt.

  4. Spread the caramel evenly into the pre-made pie crust.

  5. Sprinkle the chopped hazelnuts over the caramel layer.

  6. Arrange the sliced bananas on top of the nuts.

  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pie crust is golden brown.

  8. Allow the pie to cool before serving. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
